Northwest Chill is hosting "Northwest Songwriters Unveiled" to showcase local songwriters and provide them with a venue to perform their original music. Moon Dogs, Too! located on Bay Street in Port Orchard is sponsoring the event in their upstairs event stage. These events will be held on the 1st Sunday of every month from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
Listening audiences are absolutely welcome to attend and listen to local artists play original music. The format will quite similar to the acoustic folks clubs in England, where audiences come to hear musicians perform without the distractions of the bar. These folk clubs typically take place upstairs over a "local pub", so audiences can get refreshments to enjoy while listening to the music. The venue at Moon Dogs provides this same environment, and so is the perfect choice!
Songwriters that would like to get on the schedule to perform, should contact Northwest Chill via the contact page and provide us with your contact information so we can arrange the schedule. We will post the artist's name and performance time on the Songwriter's page schedule and post links to the performer's website and/or Facebook page as well.
